Designed for life outdoors, the Saltbush Hat is handcrafted from premium Australian wool felt, delivering exceptional comfort without the stiff, structured feel of many traditional hats. The Explorer features a 7cm brim, offering the perfect balance of sun protection and effortless style.

Made from natural Australian wool, each hat is individually shaped by hand and finished with a genuine leather band, the Saltbush Hat combines timeless style with practical durability, designed to look better with age and wear.

One of its most loved features is its crushable, foldable design. Unlike rigid hats that require careful packing, the Saltbush Hat can be gently folded or crushed into your luggage and reshaped when you're ready to wear it, making it the perfect travel companion.

For the perfect fit, every hat includes a hidden adjustable inner band. Simply tighten or loosen the internal tab to achieve a secure and comfortable fit tailored to you. If your hat feels slightly snug when new, the natural wool felt can also be gently stretched for additional comfort over time.

As a natural fibre, wool felt will develop character throughout its journey with you. Exposure to sunlight, weather and everyday adventures may gradually soften the colour and create subtle signs of wear, adding to the unique story of your hat.

Please note: The measurements above already take into account the natural give in our soft wool felt. This means that initially, before the hat has been gently stretched, it will measure towards the lower end of the size range. For example, a Small will initially measure approximately 54cm.

If your hat feels snug initially, ensure the adjustable tab is loosened, then place your hands inside the crown and gently pull outward to stretch the felt slightly.

Our hats also feature a hidden adjustable inner tab, which can be tightened as needed for a more secure fit. If you are between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size, as the adjustable tab allows you to tailor the fit.

Returns & Exchange Policy

* Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 7 days of receiving your order.
* To request a return or exchange, please email contact@saltbushhats.com.au.
* Once your request has been approved, you'll receive the return address and instructions. Please send your hat back within 7 days of approval.
* Hats must be unworn, in their original condition, and returned with any original packaging and tags intact.

Exchanges
If you'd like to exchange your hat for a different size or style:
* Return postage is at the customer's expense.
* We'll cover the cost of shipping your replacement hat back to you.

Refunds
We accept returns for change of mind and can offer:
* A refund less original shipping cost incurred ($15)
* Store credit to the value of your purchase
* An exchange


Return postage for change of mind returns is the customer's responsibility.

Faulty Products
We take pride in the quality of our products. If your item arrives faulty, damaged or isn't as described, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll work with you to find the best solution. Depending on the circumstances, we'll provide a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Please allow up to 5 business days for your return or exchange to be processed once it has been received.
